Use UptoPlay to play online the game Cave Story Outer Wall-paper.
This is a wallpaper recreation of my favorite level/scene from one of my favorite video games - the Outer Wall scene from Cave Story by Pixel.
It features your favorite Cave Story characters flying through peaceful moving clouds under a moonlit sky, all with a nice parallax effect when your scroll.
The wallpaper is also highly customizable:
- Characters (Skydragon/Kazuma/Quote or Balrog/Curly/Quote)
- Background theme (moonlit or foggy)
- Background color
- Number of stars
- Wallpaper scale
- Animation speed
- Homescreen scrolling
- Frames per second (may help with battery life)
These are available in the wallpaper's settings menu, which can be accessed through the included launcher, or through your live wallpaper chooser.

Comments:
This is honestly a fantastic little app for cave story fans but I only give it four stars just for the fact that with some more modern phones you can't have it as a always on display background and you can't just have it as your lock screen. Also you can't use the more updated graphics which isn't too big of a down side but would be a nice edition. If the creator is reading this please add some changes and some of these if possible. Overall, probably the coolest phone background I'll ever have!
It really looks good! You might want to start adding more wallpapers within the app and different characters still within Cave Story, but it would be better if you could play online it inside this existing app, so that unwanted/unnecessary files would not be a problem, because space is a problem in potato phones like mine. Other than that you, could add an option to dissable the animation, so there would be an option to just display the background and it would consume less battery power 11/10.
Absolutely beautiful wallpaper, comes with a couple options to change the number of stars and the characters or even the scene itself. Haven't noticed any additional battery drain either. Great app.
A really smooth, easy-on-the-eyes wallpaper. I loved the game, and super happy we have talented people such as yourself to make a recreated live wallpaper like this possible. My only suggestion is maybe adding additional characters and scenery, such as Misery sitting on the Balcony staring into the clouds, as seen on the credits.
Holy moly, it's awesome and nerdy. I would really like to see a feature where the background changes from moonlit to foggy depending on the system theme being light or dark. Also, have the wallpaper lower it's settings when battery saver is on. Other than that, I really like this."
