I'm not happy with this app. It seems to always choose the language itself. I translate from English to Spanish mainly, yet when opening the app, it fails to keep the last language chosen/used or even left blank. Instead it's russian, urdu or some other language. It takes a lot of challenges to overcome just to prep my assignment. The keyboard pops up and gets in the way, leaving enough room for 2 lines.
I found that the text to text and text to voice feature is brilliant. The only complaint I have is regarding the annoying ads which usually block the screen when you're trying to type in text. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars. Previously, I had tried other language translators but they all had issues with the text to voice translation feature.
Works, barely, but the ads kill all effective conversations. Every click brings up an ad that takes over the entire screen. I understand the need for ads but in this app they kill the ability to use it quickly when trying to do business. Make the ads fewer or smaller (at top or bottom to ease usability issues) and I'll come back. Until then I'm uninstalling and finding something more user-friendly and is less ad-whoring garbage.
