The municipality of Montemayor

Montemayor is a Spanish municipality in the province of Crdoba, Andalusia. Located in the heart of the Cordovan countryside. Its location on the highest mountain in the area gives this town its own name, as well as the nickname of Mirador de la Campia. It has a viewpoint with excellent views located at the foot of its castle. In the year 2020 it had 3856 inhabitants. Its surface extension is 57.98 km and it has a density of 67.68 inhabitants/km. Its geographic coordinates are 3739'N, 442'W. It is located at an altitude of 413 meters and 30 kilometers from the provincial capital, Crdoba. Its economy is based on the primary sector, its main productions being cereal, wine and oil.

Augmented Reality Features

You have access to a three-dimensional (3D) map where a virtual character will be your avatar and will accompany you through the streets and countryside of Montemayor, showing the tourist resources that appear on your way and obtaining multimedia information when you click on them

Discover what the Castle of Two Sisters was like, located a few kilometers east of the urban center of Montemayor. When you get to that point, the option to use Augmented Reality will appear at the top, press and it will show you a virtual model of the castle through your mobile, on which you can walk around it to see each of its sides and buildings.
