If your child has a smartphone:
Install the Pingo! app on your childs cell phone a GPS location tracker. In the Pingo! app, your child will be able to chat with you, and in case of an emergency they can press an SOS button - you will immediately receive a loud alarm signal on your cell phone when the SOS button is pressed.
If your child has a GPS watch:

I installed and paid for this app less than 2 months ago. While their customer service is quickly responsive, I have sent them screen shots of my phone and pictures of my daughter's phone settings twice and the app has only worked two times since installed. They refuse to give me a refund which makes no sense to me. I paid for a service, the service doesn't work, simply refund. That's how the world usually works. The other frustrating part is that they don't see my history of emails.
`free trial worked great. got the unlimited lifetime subscription and then it stopped updating the location on my kid's phone...which is the point of having the app 3/18/22- update- location is working better now. Had to "add a child" again for it to find the phone. However, now something has happened with the statistics tracking. Specifically, it stopped tracking YouTube usage along with a few apps. To my knowledge, no settings have been changed. How do I fix that??`,It's nice when it works. Connectivity is constantly lost on my kid's phone. I've triple checked that the gps is on at all times, still it disconnects itself. My child isn't doing it, he wants me to know where he is. The sad part is when the connectivity disconnects you can't even send a message to them. The last straw was I text my child to open the app to try and regain connectivity nope still didn't work. Canceling my subscription.
I chose to use another app which offers the same benefits of this app but I also am able to control my child's phone if needed (all for no annual fee) I canceled the subscription 6 weeks before annual renewal for this app only to be charged. I now have to contact my bank in regards to the unauthorized charge this app has made. I do not recommend this app because there are others out there that does the same and/or more for free. You won't have to worry about trying to recoup your money
`Overall, I like the app. Specifically, the ability to activate the phone's microphone, along with the ability to both listen and record the audio of it's surroundings. *I was about to purchase a Lifetime license; until I read that the app's listening function was Not included.
