Turtle Talking is an approved technique for helping children with a stutter (disfluency). It enforces the importance of speaking slowly to enforce smooth and easy speech without tension. Have your child repeat a sentence or make up their own sentence and touch each turtle with each word that they speak. It is a simple, yet effective method of enabling fluency. Make sure to praise your child after each smooth sentence!
