Its working fine for me. Little slow but working. Just select a perfect remote which is suitable for your tv. And obviously you will need a IR emitter in your mobile.
Works perfect with my Den TV SD (non HD) Cisco set top box. Installed on two Mi phones. Performs better than standard remote at all angles.
It works perfectly on my Mi A1. Make sure your phone has builtin IR emitter. Right remote control has to be chosen at first time.
