VisionI is a fast, reliable and the smartest assistive app that helps blind and visually impaired users to read text, detect objects, scan codes, get location, recognize colors, expiry & currency. Moreover, it allows the user to communicate with the people using morse code. The app is also fused with a smart calculator which helps the person to perform common expression calculations like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. The basic operating principle for most functions is super easy: just use the phones camera to scan and everything will be read out with high precision and accuracy.

Before using the application make sure that your phone is not in silent mode and you are able to hear the device voice and recognize its vibration comfortably.

CONVERT TEXT TO MORSE CODE AND VICE-VERSA: VisionI provides real time translation using international morse code standards. The application gives back feedback in the form of sound and vibration. Users can also paste the message from clipboard to translate into morse code and vice versa.

SPECIAL CALCULATOR: The application is integrated with an expression calculator which allows the user to perform basic calculations. The numbers can be written in morse code. The vibration and sound of the mobile helps the user to input expressions and get its solution.

DETECT OBJECTS: The technology of deep learning with TensorFlow and MobileNet models have made this possible to detect one or more objects simultaneously and recognize real world entities, guiding the user to know what is in front of the latter. Obviously, it may not give 100% results but will provide most appropriate outputs.

RECOGNISE CURRENCY: It recognizes banknotes of Indian currencies and tells the user the amount by speaking back. Front side of notes is preferred while capturing the image as it gives more accurate results.

GET LOCATION: It helps in finding the users location by speaking out and displaying the coordinates in snap bar.

RECOGNISE TEXT FROM CAMERA AND GALLERY: This AI based feature helps to easily read or recognize text in documents, handwritten assignments, any text in gallery images or in our surroundings with the help of audio-guided edge detection. All content recognized is spoken back to the user and can be easily copied on long press.

RECOGNISE COLOUR: This feature provides the user to detect colours and analyze its usage within the captured frame. VisionI is capable of recognizing dominant and ascent colours.

SCAN BAR OR QR CODES: VisionI provides the fastest code scanner which swiftly scans all types of QR/Bar code including text, URL, ISBN, contact, calendar, email, location, Wi-Fi and many other formats. Users can also copy-paste the scan content for later use.

RECOGNISE EXPIRY DATES: This feature helps in easy identification of expiry products just by scanning the products label.

Every single feature works without an internet connection. It is classically designed to get things done quickly and comfortably with an aim to set the digital eyes to make the physical world more accessible for the blind and low vision users.
