All AB6IX members have been known by the public, Young Min and Dong Hyun debuted as a duo named MXM. Woojin and Daehwi were known to debut as members of Wanna One, and the four members were dropouts from Produce 101 Season 2. While Woong was a former YG, JYP and Woolim Entertainment trainee. AB in AB6IX is an abbreviation of ABSOLUTE or ABOVE BRANDNEW, while 6 stands for 5 members plus 1 fandom.
