Digital Skill Master Academy, the brainchild of SpiderWorks Technologies, is one of the oldest and most promising digital marketing training institutes in Kerala. The idea for a digital marketing training institute germinated as a small seed in the mind of Tony John, a software architect, digital marketing strategist and blogger, in the early 2000s while he was living in the USA. The idea continued to grow even after he relocated back to India. By 2011 Digital Skill Master Academy took shape as we know today. The Academy is now one of the leading globally recognised skill development institutes in Kerala. Digital Skill Master Academy offers specialised training in digital marketing, search engine optimization, social media marketing and everything else related to digital marketing.
DSM has been imparting technical education to hundreds of students for the past ten years or so in the form of short term courses developed in-house. With the changing times and trends, remote working and learning is slowly emerging as the way forward. Added with the precarious situation existing worldwide, the need for self-learning has only become heightened. In such a scenario, it was felt imminent that the services of Digital Skill Master be made available in a format accessible to anyone, anywhere, anytime. With that goal in mind, the team at SpiderWorks Technologies designed and developed the Digital Skill Master app, by digitizing and restructuring the services provided by the Academy in the form of an app. The Digital Skill Master app is aimed at imparting technical training and knowledge to its users who are mostly students, entrepreneurs, business owners, digital marketing, sales and marketing professionals.

What the Digital Skill Master app does differently from other educational apps available in the market is that it offers a specific skill set relevant in the current day and age, one that has been honed from the years of experience of imparting knowledge by Digital Skill Master Academy. The Digital Skill Master app provides short term courses, mostly related to digital marketing and IT. At present, the app offers several courses on digital marketing for a nominal fee, and has plans to incorporate IT related courses such as app development, data science, cloud computing et cetera in the near future.
The app is user friendly, easy to navigate and can be readily understood by even a novice user. When you open the app, you have to click on the Get Started button to proceed. There are three tabs available to you on the next screen - All Courses, My Courses, Account.

The All Courses tab displays all the available courses on the app, with brief descriptions on total number of sessions, number of sessions per week, time required/allotted, number of videos as well as number of modules in a particular session. Initially, the app offers courses in the field of digital marketing.

All the courses selected and paid for by the user is available in the My Courses tab. It also features corresponding details of the course(s) such as total number of sessions, progress tracking, number of videos and modules, etc.

The third and final tab is the Account tab, wherein you can edit your profile, change settings, change password, log out, etc.

While clicking on any particular course, the user can see the detailed breakup of each course into modules, which are further split into chapters/sessions - all of which help the user to navigate through each course easily. There is no restriction on the number of times you can take any session or module so the user can revisit and study at his own pace. More features and courses on the app will be rolled out in due course.
