Absolute garbage. Terrible picture and device overheats, app cannot be stored on anything but your phone's internal memory and it overtakes all Wi-Fi and data functions so that your phone won't even work if the app is running and the device is connected. But good luck getting the device to actually connect to the app, that will take you about 15 tries and then it will disconnect whenever it feels like. It also wants access to your location for no reason. Returned and uninstalled.
Works with no significant delay while providing the basic essential functions including video and screen capture (as long as you give camera permissions), used with the wireless Mimoday otoscope connected via wifi. No intrusive ads or malware as far as I know. The only recommendation would having Bluetooth compatibility, but I don't necessarily have to connect to the internet while using it. I'm giving it 5 stars mainly because it works well without unnecessary ads.
Start up clunky, but works great. The QR code in the instructions led me to a credit card app! Once I installed and then uninstalled that I searched for this app just because the company name was in the instructions (eutto would have been my next search). Everything worked when I closed and opened the program. I can see why people were worried about making the phone connection. It was not obvious how to do that. Maybe 10 minutes total and I'm taking (gross) pics of my ears.
Used to work on my Pixel 2, but stopped working. Even though my wifi connects to the device, it still won't connect to the app.
Garbage!! The positive reviews aren't real. Most people have the same reviews about this product not connecting on their phones and it's suspicious that they aren't showing up anymore. Return the product and avoid products that connect via WiFi and not bluetooth. Get a better device."
