Comments:
Does what is advertised but could use many quaility of life improvements. A few things which I think would really bring this to a 5 star app are currently missing: Sleep timer/timer Speed setting for audio (.75x, 1x, 1.25x, etc) Optional background music. Overall does what is promised and is free, but its average.
Excellent app. The dramatisation really helps. I love the one for Revelation which really helps the visualisation and understanding. Having decent actors to read it is great too. They often help me understand the text better in the way they bring out emphases and repetitions that I had not spotted. I listened to Isaiah in one sitting on a long journey and it was great.
The reader has a nice voice. The app is easy to navigate. Sadly it is ruined by the constant music playing in the background. I would play for an ad free version if the music could be turned off. I'm sorry but I have to admit that I will uninstall it because of this.
Just downloaded yesterday and started where I always struggle to read through which is Numbers. The reader's voice and background music made it much more interesting than the countless times I have tried reading through on my own.
Love the narrator's voice and it would be perfect on it's own but the background music is just not needed, it lessens the quality and content. Also missing Wisdom and Sirach...background music has to go I cannot meditate with it."
