The latest update (June 2020) sucks bigtime. It makes the game look slightly better at the detriment to the gameplay. The game has a hard time registering flicks. It's full of little delays here and there. Worse is that it just doesn't feel anything like it used to. I miss way more kicks because the difference between a made kick and a kick that sails way over the crossbar seems to be just random luck sometimes. I used to be able to place a kick right at the top corner, but now it feels terrible
I have owned this game for years and it has always been part of gaming rotation. It is familiar and solid fun. Unfortunately, the curving mechanics have recently changed and now the ball curves too dramatically with very little effort. Not sure why this aspect of the game was changed when it had been perfect.
I hadn't played this game for over 3years so these reviews were disappointing but I decided to install the app and try it myself. I will confirm that this app has been ruined - the developer's repeated responses to every recent review that just says send us an email is unacceptable. You see every recent review from long-term users is consistent telling you what the problem is. There's no need for anyone to email you for additional input - if you actually do any testing then you're aware of this.
Game now freezes consistently, enjoyed this game for over 3 or 4 years, now can't even get past game locking up after first ball lobbed, becomes unresponsive and has to be force closed, uninstalled it and never plan to play anymore, you've ruined an enjoyable experience ... Thanks pikpok
