Not only did Kassel play a major role in their lives, but the city is now centrally located on the German Fairy Tale Route. The surrounding region of north Hesse has also been designated as the homeland of the Brothers Grimm (Grimm Heimat). The GRIMMWELT’s interactive and hands-on exhibits are fun for all ages, and encourage cultural and intercultural dialogue.
