Very simple easy to use. Unfortunately I had to use it not long after getting my first Kind Pen cuz i got a faulty device and they sent me a new upgraded one that is much better for free, minus shipping that is. The lifetime warranty is no joke!
In-app scanner does not seem to recognize the qr code, while a qr scanning app does read it (even though the code is printed in an annoyingly small size, and my phone experiences issues with resolution when focusing on something so small and close). It appears that one indeed cannot use app to register, as.purported by the description. One star because I could at least enter my name and email.... Uh, did I just fall for a marketing scam?
I love their products and customer service and everything and out this company besides this app. Camera will not focus on tiny QR code to get warranty, therefore no warranty to be issued. I like it better when they came with warranty cards and it was manual entry. It's been almost 4 months and still not a single update on the app either.
Stupid app, doesn't work. Go ahead try and scan a qr code and get a warranty. It doesn't work, can't scan it, therefore you can't get a warranty. I see why kind pen switched to this method from the warranty card with the code on it. Its so you can't replace the defective garbage they make. I used my vape twice and it broke. Now I can't get my warranty because I have to use a faulty app. Great way to loose a long time customer
This app is unhelpful. I've tried to get my 50% off products for life put in but I can't bc it isn't manual and have to scan the qr code but it didn't come with it. I'm hella confused on how to use it tbh"
