Play this online game named Usage Study.

Note: We have stopped recruiting participants for this study, starting from July 7th, 2017.

Want to help university researchers and at the same time learn more about daily usage of your - Android smartphone? Then play online and install our Usage Study app.

The app will collect usage statistics, and will send anonymized data back to the university server. University researchers will analyze this anonymized data to study usage patterns of Android smartphones. All you need to do to participate in the study is to install the app by following the above installation video guide. During the two-month study, you will be asked at random times to fill out short surveys.

By participating in and completing this study, you will be compensated for US$40 and entered into a raffle of one iPad Pro (9.7-inch, WiFi, 256GB). You will increase your chances to win the raffle by filling out more surveys. In addition, at the end of the study, you will receive your usage statistics to learn more about how you use your smartphone.

Updates:

This release is specifically used for reminding two participants with reference ID "1bed01" or "dfb343" to update their app, in order to help us recover their email addresses, so that we will be able to send them the compensation once they complete the study.
