If only they would actually check these apps for viruses, talking to you google play, you checked this app before installing. Second time my phone was infected by apps from google play. Exactly why i will no longer vive google play access. Ran this app through a simple virus detector and it was flagged with a trojan. Couldnt figure out why my system seemed differemt and sluggish. Went into developer options and activated hidden message detection. Warning right away. Remove this app google
There's a lot to like about this app. 1) You can sort the documents by file type. 2) You can edit, unzip, move, and create new file types as well as many other actions. 3) Photos are categorized by location and have a timeline feature in addition to standard gallery. 4) There is a chronological file history. 5) The UI is very comfortable and attractive. And NO ADS! I let a lot of reviews about your SD card access. Everything is flawless there now. Works great. Keep up the good work.
Wow........ I've been using Google files for a while now, but it feels so limited in what it can do. Yes, it's a file explorer, and yes, it does it's job (on a basic level) very well. But this file manager here has a lot more going for it. Lots of useful tools, versatile a.h., and very user friendly. Oh yeah, did I also mention that it is free, and ad free as well? I didn't check for it yet, but if there's a donation button, I'm hitting that.
Downloaded after liking their other products a lot, this one is plagued with problems fron the start as I kept getting notifications on the screen, tapped Cancel and they instantly reappeared. Norton Anti Virus flashed a Warning ⚠ on the screen about App causing unusual behaviour which did so I Uninstalled it immediately . DO NOT RECOMMEND !!!!!!!
Like all the other apps files transfer to SD card conveniently does not read SD card. This is intentionally done in the app design . The older apps it was no problem. I have an older app on another phone with no issue involved. It's not the SD card either. It's the design in the app that specifically does not work. Tried over 20 apps with same issue in design. Bring the old design back. Uninstalled
