Comments:

Great app! Only complaint would be that the characters are kinda of small in tests; but it's free. The creators clearly put a lot of work into it and even allow you to choose to have ads or not- which I respect so much that I choose to keep ads on.

One of the few apps you can practice writing kanji with! Good for extra practice or as a kanji dictionary. No explanations or scheluled reviews though, so it sort of lacks in being a teaching app.

All I have to say is yes. Life saver, this app. Helped me to memorize over 500 kanji, as well as the entire kana system. 10/10

Great app -- love the handwriting practice. The handwriting is still in beta so it's a little overly strict sometimes, but overall it's great. One feature that I'd love is a speed reading practice -- perhaps have it flash words 1 kana at a time at a set pace, and then have you type it. Speeding up until you are reading words/sentences pretty quickly. I think it'd also be great to have a version of the handwriting with where you only hear audio instead of seeing it. Thank you devs :)

So far my favorite app for studying japanese. It shines mostly for kana and kanji. There's too much vocab grouped together to really use it for that, but it's an option that's there if you need it. It also comes with a lot of information to use to study any part you're having trouble with. If I could I'd like to organize vocab based on the Genki books. I could import a new list for each chapter, but I'd have to modify an export myself and know all the things in each chapter."
