Electronic Resistor Color Code is an application that calculates resistor values based on the color listed on the resistor body or the code listed on the resistor in the form of a circular ring with various colors.

Resistors are passive electronic components that have resistance and are used to limit the flow of electric current in an electric circuit. The resistance of the resistor is measured in Ohms (). The resistance or resistance of the resistor will work when there is an electric voltage in the circuit so that the resistor can inhibit the flow of electric current in the circuit. The value of the resistor depends on the color of the resistor. Each color has its own meaning or value. The color on the resistor refers to the international standard that has been set.

This application is very simple and practical which aims to find out the value of the resistor by converting the resistor color code into the form of a numeric value in order to find out the value of a resistor. Calculations use the color or number table method according to international standards to determine the calculated value.

The application will also match the calculation results of the resistor value with the EIA (Electrical Industries Association) standard, namely the E series standard (E series). Resistor value matching allows the user to find out which resistors are included in the E6, E12, E24, E48, E96 or E192 series. The match results can be seen when a notification appears after the calculation in the form of a red exclamation mark or a green tick. By clicking on the sign, a notification will appear whether the resistor meets the standard or not, and if not, the nearest resistor value according to the E series standard will be notified.
